Scientists performed a mutational analysis of gene X. The gene X is a transcription factor involved in the cell cycle control. The aim of the study was to address a question of whether mutations in the gene had an impact on the development of cancer. Overall, five mutations were detected. Analysis of the results showed that some of the mutations had no effect on cancer behavior. The table below contains some basic information about mutations.
